Polaris (2019) is a short film about a traveler’s quest to bring Light back to her dying city. She must make an important decision on her journey: to selfishly take the Light for her people, or allow its ancient guardian to live. Follow the development on its blog!

The Goliath is both environment and character - large enough for the protagonist to nestle comfortably in its eye socket, and determined to keep the light in its place at the top of the dias.
As the 3D film elements would be rendered out through the Unreal Engine 4, I developed a post-processing effect that would simulate the brushstrokes of the 2D layouts onto the 3D environments and animation.
